About Growth Development Foundation
Hello. I am Angie Simmons.
Like many of you, I’ve had to face a lot of challenges during my life. Challenges like grief, rejection, work-related stress and overwhelm, all of which left me suffering from anxiety, depression, and a serious lack of self-belief for a long time.
Thankfully, I found a method of personal development that worked for me, which led me on an amazing and extraordinary journey of recovery and self-discovery.
Growth Development Foundation was born when life threw yet another curved ball my way: The death of my beloved teacher and mentor, my mother. Based around the eight daily steps I took to recover from this devastating bereavement, I developed a unique journal and programme of self-discovery, which enabled me to take control of my life once and for all.
Having travelled on my own journey of self-discovery, my aspiration now is to help others on their own journey. I want to inspire you to change your life too, by providing a powerful personal development toolkit called the Margjala Method.
The Margjala Method teaches you the science behind a unique, step-by-step process that shows you how to find and switch on your inner light. It enhances self-awareness and creates new thought processes and patterns. It equips you with the tools you need to manage your moods on a day-to-day basis, helping you to fight negative feeling like depression, anxiety and brain-fog.

is an undated year-long, self-help workbook. Based on neuroscientific evidence, it gives you a daily structure to monitor the thoughts, feelings and actions that you often miss or ignore, even though they’re paramount to your health and wellbeing. In addition, it builds time into your day for goal-setting, affirmation, gratitude, reflection and mindfulness. To help you to get the most from your journal, there is also a Facebook Group where you can meet others and share your experiences.
The Margjala Method
As Covid-19 swept through the UK during 2020, I noticed my anxiety levels were going through the roof, even after six years of personal development. I started to worry about how this epidemic would impact others, people who had no idea how to manage their own mental wellbeing. This is why I developed a method of self-management for mental wellbeing based on my own knowledge and experiences.
The Margjala Method is a unique, seven-week mentorship programme for personal development to teach the neuroscience behind a powerful process that enables you to switch on your inner light. It equips you with a toolkit to manage your mental wellbeing, and to combat negative emotions like depression, anxiety, and a feeling of overwhelm. The approach throughout is one of love and understanding, giving you confidence and strength by uniting science and spirituality for maximum personal growth.
